This month a lot has changed. We've moved into a great apartment that will hopefully be much better for our family. Once we made that transition we also moved Derek into a big boy bed to prepare for little brother Parker to sleep in the crib. Derek now has plenty of room in our new place and even his own playroom with all of his toys where he can make a huge mess and Mommy won't mind at all. Over the past month Derek had developed a cold and after a few doctor's visits and several meds, 3 weeks later he was still having problems with his cold so we made our first venture to the Children's hospital nearby. I can't say enough about the staff there, they took care of very quickly and thanks to the great pediatrician and some breathing treatments, he's all better now. I think he's on the verge of a big speech development because he's trying so hard to talk more and babbling up a storm. We have found a preschool for him nearby that he will start attending twice a week for a few hours. This will be great for him and give Mommy and Daddy some time to get some stuff done and take a break. We'll probably be cleaning up that playroom. ;-)
Here are some recent pictures.
