Our Chunky Monkey is 27 weeks!

The head is on the right side and the belly is on the left. Like with the 3D session his arms and hands were covering his head and face. Although she tried her hardest jiggling him around to get him to move he remained stubborn and would not move those little hands so we could see his face. You can see his arm and little hand right above his head. His heart, stomach, brain, arms and legs were all healthy and in the normal ranges. He's measuring almost a week ahead in general at 3lbs and his chunky monkey tummy is measuring 2 weeks ahead at 29 weeks. This kid won't be in newborn stuff long at all!! But we love him, chunky baby rolls and all! :)

How far along:
27 weeks!
Total weight gain or loss: TBD at the next appt on Monday but I'm pretty sure it'll be up from last time.
Maternity clothes: That milestone is long gone!
Stretch marks: Yeah in the weirdest places but so far none on the belly (knocking on wood now)
Sleep: The baby likes to get the hiccups and kick in the middle of the night so sleep is a luxury I fit in anytime I can.
Best moment this week: tough call between the yummy milkshake and the ultrasound today. ;-)
Movement: Definitely, and usually when I'd rather him be still and let me sleep.
Food cravings: Strawberry milkshakes are a new one but Cocoa Pebbles is still baby's favorite.
Gender: He had boy parts again today.
Labor signs: Nope, still a few weeks away from that hopefully.
Belly button in or out: I keep expecting it to pop out but still barely in.
What I miss: I can't really think of anything other than sleep right now.
What I am looking forward to: Having a closet to put all the cute little baby clothes into.
Weekly wisdom: Sometimes it's better to suffer the hip pain and try to go back to sleep than to flip over and wake baby up so he's kicking the crap outta me and I'm not able to go back to sleep for an hour.
Milestones: Finding out I passed the gestational diabetes test and seeing that everything was healthy on the ultrasound today.
